About this cartoon: A decade-old ban an the sale of assault weapons expired, and Republicans in Congress made no attempt to extend it (apparently being too busy "fighting terrorism").
Noteworthy: A letter writer completely misread this as meaning that assault weapons were no problem as the color was green (ignoring the GO on the traffic signal and the meaning thereof).
