about this cartoon: | Title:
Identity theft Published: Ventura County Star Date: Nov. 27, 2002 About this cartoon: Identity theft is the fastest-growing major crime, and a major ring was busted that had stolen 30,000 credit cards in one of the most blatant examples of this crime. Noteworthy: I had proposed a somewhat similar cartoon about a year earlier at the Marin Independent Journal, and was turned down, so this cartoon carries a certain amount of vindication. I'm not too pleased with the face of the guy on the right... some of the members of the busted ring were black (but not sure about the others) so I tried to do a racially-neutral person that didn't come off as well as I'd hoped. |
