about this cartoon: | Title:
Managed care Published: Seattle Post-Intelligencer Date: Aug. 7, 1998 About this cartoon: HMO and managed-care providers were impersonal enough, but with the corporate merger craze making the companies even more bottom-line conscious than before, the actual patient-level health care was likely to become even more rushed and perfunctory than before. Noteworthy: Fun to conceive and draw (haven't YOU had medical appointments like this?). I thought computer-style type would be better than my ususal hand-lettering for this cartoon. |
