About this cartoon feature: This was my first real contribution to Mad, written and drawn for Mad #323, December 1993. I got my just-off-the-press copies, fortuitously, just as an exhibit of Mad original art opened in Seattle, so I got to be the "local Mad artist" for the moment. I was super nervous working on this (and wasn't expecting to get asked to draw the piece I'd written).
