this cartoon feature: This was a one-time parody of the syndicated comic
strip "Mallard Fillmore" by Bruce Tinsley, and was drawn for issue
7 of the excellent cartooning magazine Hogan's Alley (for which I'm now a columnist).
The magazine had asked various cartoonists which strip they'd like to draw for
a day, and I chose the very conservative, Clinton/Democrats/Congress/Liberals/bureaucrats-
bashing and Rush Limbaugh- loving comic strip by Tinsley, just so that I could
move its politics considerably to the left for a day. | |
