About this cartoon: I'ts been amazing at how the GOP and corporate interests have turned the generalized anger of Tea Partiers and channeled it for their own purposes. The healthcare reform Americans had been clamoring for in 2008? A terrible thing. Tax cuts for the wealthiest and for corporations? A wonderful thing. Government regulation to prevent repeats of the Wall Street mega-gouging or the mortgage meltdown? Evil government. Do these people even know how the right-wing pundits and politicians stirred up the Tea Party's incessant anger to further their own agendas and interests?
