About this cartoon: Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig stepped in and did what Dodgers fans had been hoping for: he used his authority to yank away the Dodgers from its owner, Frank McCourt. McCourt had over-leveraged to buy the team in the first place, was in a bitter divorce dispute invloving the team with his wife Jamie, had raised prices while cutting back security and in general was letting the team sink under his own financial burdens.
