About this cartoon: The U.S. was wasting no effort to elimate biological, chemical and nuclear dangers in Iraq, but such dangers also existed domestically, in the form of hazardous industrial and military waste sites, such as our nearby Rocketdyne plant.
Noteworthy: The local version of this had "Rocketdyne" on the right-hand sign, but it was also intended as a cartoon that applied everywhere.
