About this cartoon: As world leaders met for another summit on global warming and climate change, the effects continued to be felt around the planet and its life-forms. But some climate scientists' internal emails were hacked and out-of-context, inflammatory statements were leaked to give the impression they believed global warming was not real but they wanted the public to believe it was real anyway. Global warming deniers whooped with glee and proclaimed warming was all a giant hoax by liberals with an agenda. But the overwhelming majority of scientists and their studies DO believe that not only is warming for real, but presents an alarming, rapidly worsening and possibly irreversable threat to Earth and every creature on it.
