About this cartoon: As January 1, 2000 neared, most of the world
made a fuss about the new century and new millennium (never mind that
some would say Jan. 1, 2001 would be that date). But on the Jewish calendar,
a new millennium was still 240 years away.
Noteworthy: The only millennium cartoon I did for either calendar
or for any newspaper.
