about this cartoon: | Title:
Right-hand man Published: Jewish Bulletin of Northern Calif. (San Francisco) Date: Sept. 12, 2003 About this cartoon: Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas quit in frustration after a short tenure, caught between Israeli demands to crack down on terrorists, loyalty to his fellow Palestinians, and Yasser Arafat's meddling in an unwillingness to cede any power. Arafat quickly named his hand-picked choice to replace Abbas. Noteworthy: Simple, dramatic, and one of the best drawings I've done of Arafat. |
