about this cartoon: | Title:
The hard liner Published: Jewish Bulletin of Northern Calif. (San Francisco) Date: March 1, 2002 About this cartoon: Each day's news in the Mideast seemed bleaker, with suicide bombings and retaliations becoming a daily event. Ariel Sharon's hard-line approach was not giving Israelis the security he'd promised, and the daily death toll was in turn making him even more hard-line. Tthe peace process felt less hopeful than it had in decades. Noteworthy: Considering I don't agree with many of his policies, it's a bit surprising that this is the first cartoon on him that I can recall doing. |
