Title: Magen David Adom
Published: Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles
Date: June 30, 2006
About this cartoon: After decades of refusal, the Magen David Adom -- Israel's version of the Red Cross -- was finally accepted into the International Red Cross community, as was the Palestinian's version; both were able to use their own religious symbols (Israel's being required to be inside a "crystal" shape) instead of a cross.
