About this cartoon: Israel carried out an assassination of the elderly spiritual (and possibly strategic) leader of Hamas -- an action it repeated weeks later upon his successor -- in order to ensure safety in the future. Of course, there is no such thing in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and revenge killings for the assassinations were immediately declared and planned by Hamas and other Palestinian groups.
