About this cartoon: The Israeli town of Sderot, on the border with the Gaza Strip, has been the target of endless Qassam rocket fire tolerated -- if not encouraged -- by the Hamas government. Israel faces a dilemma, with reprisals leading to escalation and world condemnation, inaction leading to more Israeli deaths, or reoccupation of Gaza leading to a volatile stew of anti-Israel hatred being kept under constant Israeli military pressure. And as the Palestinian missiles grow more sophisticated, then other Israeli cities will pose the same dilemma even more acutely.
