About this cartoon: With so much violence going on in the Mideast, this was a new year's drawing for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur as well as a comment on the turmoil.
Noteworthy: If you've ever seen someone try to play the shofar (ram's horn), it is often fairly amusing as the person trying to blast the notes gets red-faced, winded and exhausted, perhaps squeezing out puny and embarrassing sounds out of the difficult instrument.
