About this cartoon: The violence between Israel and Palestinians continues. Israel's heavy-handed tactics against Arabs both inside and outside Israel's borders have long been a sore point, with civil rights of Israeli Arabs and Arabs living near Jewish settlements in the West Bank often trampled.
Noteworthy: I felt that the cartoons on this site were a bit too one-sided -- Israel is certainly worthy of criticism on the civil-rights side; it's not always simply a case of defending itself against terrorists, and in fact they've turned a great many otherwise-neutral Arab citizens into foes by their water-use, land-use and other governmental policies.
